The amount of Bitcoin supply in profit and loss is now getting closer to levels typical of a bear market, according to a CryptoQuant analyst. There are currently about 11.2 million Bitcoin (BTC) in profit. The previous bear market recorded 9 million BTC in profit at its lowest point, CryptoQuant analyst “Darkfost” said Thursday. CryptoQuant data also shows there are about 8.2 million Bitcoin at a loss, with Glassnode data confirming it’s at levels not seen since late 2022. “This is quite significant, considering that during the last bear market this figure reached about 10.6 million BTC,” Darkfost said. 📊No votes yet – Be the first to vote Ethereum crashed hard Thursday. The second-largest cryptocurrency fell close to 5%, bringing its price dangerously near the $2,000 mark after what looked like a decent recovery earlier this week. The drop didn’t come out of nowhere. On Wednesday, Ethereum’s Open Interest—basically the total amount of derivatives positions sitting on exchanges—jumped by a massive 7.1%. And when Open Interest spikes like that, it usually means traders are piling on leverage, which pretty much guarantees wild price swings are coming. CryptoQuant analyst Maartunn has been tracking these patterns for months, and he’s seen…
Bitcoin is trading choppily around $66,600, as the extended holiday weekend sidelines potential buyers and gives bears greater control over price action. With CME futures and ETF flows set to pause over Good Friday, the market is heading into a liquidity gap just as its most reliable source of support is already weakening.Bitcoin’s $65,000 support is starting to look fragile as the market’s most active buyers turn out to be its most macro-dependent. In a recent report, CryptoQuant data show 30-day apparent demand at about -63,000 BTC, even as ETF and corporate purchases climb to multi-month highs, while Singapore-based market maker…
It’s not all bad news, though, as there was at least one whale that made a big purchase in the past 24 hours. Bitcoin’s price has nosedived once again in the past 24 hours, dropping below $71,000 for the first time since the weekend. While the blame has been placed on the US Federal Reserve, certain OG whales have been disposing of large BTC portions, which can also be attributed to the correction. OGs Selling Lookonchain reported that an ancient BTC wallet sold another 1,000 units in the past day, worth around $71 million. The entity received 5,000 BTC (worth…
In brief The plan covers Russell 1000 stocks and some index ETFs at launch, with the same rights, symbols, and priority. Tokenized trades would still flow through DTC and revert to traditional settlement if needed. During the review, commenters questioned its mechanics, market risks, and how much say issuers should have. Nasdaq’s proposal to trade some stocks in tokenized form received formal approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday, though the structure would still keep trading and settlement within traditional market rails.Covering some securities already listed on the national securities exchange, the changes would begin with Russell…

Bitrefill Cyberattack According to the company, the breach originated from…
Crypto markets have wiped out recent gains amid hawkish sentiment from the US central bank. Total market capitalization has declined by almost $100 billion in less than 24 hours before and after the Federal Reserve’s meeting on Wednesday. The metric is now at around $2.52 trillion after falling from just below a six-week high of $2.61 trillion on Wednesday.
